Movie

A few nights back I went to see 500 Days of Summer. Not sure if anyone else has seen it, doesn't seem to be too popular. At any rate, there was a scene where the main character draws a cityscape scene on his girlfriends' forearm and puts it up against the sunlight and the actress clearly had arm fuzz because the light caught it all as it stood up. It wasn't really noticeable in the rest of the movie as her arm hair was really faint and thin...
Just thought I'd share, I found it interesting that it was so blunt in that one scene, as I've never seen that before in movies.

  1. Zooey Deschanel does have great arm hair. But also check out Sarah Roemer in Disturbia (great close up of blond even patterned arm hair). Also Sports Illustrated swimsuit models Brooklyn Decker and Tori Praver have some great arm hair.

  2. Lisa, I haven't seen that particular movie, but there are more films than you may suspect that have arm hair featured, either intentionally (fairly rare) or by happy accident of lighting. One of the best was a dreadful horror flick called "Lair of the White Worm" that showed so much of actress Catherine Oxenburg's arm hair in a few scenes that it should have received star billing. There are also quite a few novels, short stories, and even poems that mention female arm hair. I'll post something over at the GWHA website soon with a few examples. Best wishes, Bilbo.
