It's been a while

Well, I haven't posted on this blog in a while, and seeing as it's fairly inactive maybe we can stir up some conversation. I am turning 20 on the 27th of this month (August) and my arms have been extra hairy as long as I can remember. Even as a little girl my arms were hairier than those of other kids. It's funny, we all know that kids are much more mean-spirited than adults, usually, but in elementary school I was made fun of for my glasses and my height, but never my arms. This just goes to show you that kids LEARN to be prejudiced as they get older. When I was a child, having hairy arms was just a natural thing, even mean kids didn't notice it because it just WAS. It is not until people get older and the views of society are so deeply ingrained in them that they can see hairy arms as a bad thing, or something to make fun of. Sure, in middle school and high school I did get teased. Being a young woman with such hairy arms made me feel kind of bad about myself. For a while in middle/high school I shaved my arm hair off every time I showered. Of course at that point I started getting made fun of if I missed a spot! I realized that it did not matter what I did, people were going to make fun of me for not being perfect. After that day I never shaved my arms again. Screw what people think! It felt so good to be introduced to the CProductions website. I finally found a place where people would love my for my hairiness. I used to worry that even though I was an attractive woman that my arm hair would scare men off. I'm with a wonderful guy now who could not care less about the hair on my arms or anywhere else on my body, and loves me for me. It took a lot of confidence for me to be with someone, because I still think about my arm hair from time-to-time and get self-conscious about it. When I dress up nice I often think that people are going to be looking at my arm hair rather than at me... I want to appear feminine when I put on nice clothes. However now I know the truth! The people who do not care about arm hair will not notice, the people who like arm hair will think it makes me all the more beautiful, and the people who don't like it... well they can just eff off! My body and looks make me feminine. I was born female and you know what? Females actually *GASP* ARE BORN WITH BODY HAIR! Somewhere along the way it became "weird" for women to be hairy, even though that's how we're ALL born! So forget it. Forget all of the people who think it's strange. They're crazy if they think natural = ugly. I'm beautiful, so are my arms, and so are the arms of every hairy woman. We're all beautiful because we have embraced who we are and have decided not to change a thing for people who don't matter! Good luck to all you brave girls!

How do I feel about my arm hair now? (update)

I'm not going to lie. I like the way smooth arms look but I also like how hairy arms feel. My arms personally have a nice, texturized feel. I was sitting on my couch the other day and just running my fingers through my arm hair and it was surprisingly soft. I also realized that being 'womanly' doesn't mean you have to shave every single hair on your body, and I say this because I attend church a lot and have been 'growing' up and using more heels and skirts and dresses and these things make me forget that I have hairy arms. I feel like a women every day.

I have body hair all over and thicker on some areas than others (my abdomen area and a little on my back) but hair...is hair. Just because mine shows more than the average AMERICAN woman doesn't mean I can't do the same things and like the same things she does.

Also, I admit, I still look for reasons to why I could be so hairy. I have found some conditions and one that popped out was called Hirsutism and the images that came up on Google images, were not the prettiest, but what can we do? Women are actually born like that. In some serious cases, they could shave once in a while, haha. But other than that, we should just let our bodies do their own thing.

maybe this link will make girls who shave think twice:)

New Year

After an extended holiday vacation, playing catch-up at work and being crazy busy at work, I'm back to this blog!!

Interesting story to share, I was in Dominican in December for a wedding and there was about 10 of us who would party and hang out together. After one of our many nights of drinking, we went to get some food at the one buffet still open in the wee hours of the night. We all sat in one big table, laughing, being loud and just having a good time when one of the girls in our group admitted to all of us that she liked hairy arms! When I heard this I just about spat out my drink!! Everyone in the group started cracking up. She then proceeded to tell us that she loved the hair arm on one of the guy's in our group. He had a fair amount of arm hair. She asked him if she could play with it, he said yeah! She was the happiest person that night being able to just play with his arm hair.

On our way back to our rooms, I told her about my past experience in doing photo shoots for a website that showcases girls with hairy arms. Her first reaction, 'oh, so is it a fetish thing?' My response, 'no, it's about natural beauty'. Her reaction, 'oh, cool'. I showed her my arm hair, she said yeah, that's soo cool, I wish I had arm hair to play with. She's got zilch, nada, nothing - smooth as a baby's bum! She told me she also likes to feel her friend's (male or female) eyebrows! We had a good laugh together that night talking about body hair in general.

Now back to reality, we all got together one night in Toronto to share pics and reminisce. A few of her shots were of the guy's hairy arms (she took them very sneaky, without him knowing) and once again she proudly stated how she loved his hairy arms. My friend also has a video of her one night playing with them and proclaiming how she just loves the feeling of it.

I thought this whole story was funny as I'm always thinking of stories to share on this blog. Which got me thinking I've never seen a site catered to the female audience that like guy's hairy arms!! There's something new :) And I'm sure there are plenty of girls out there who like their man with a some body hair. It's all about preferences!!

I was also back to where I was born, and as I suspected almost all my female relatives had hairy arms!! And some even hairy upper legs. All natural.

It was nice to see that no one cared about women having hairy arms!! It was just normal.
